Creating Private and Shared Libraries
We at HuMetricsHSS are striving to cultivate an academy that’s inclusive, open, collaborative, collegial, and generous. The values sorter application is one tool we offer to the community to enable that work. We welcome you to use this application to create private libraries where you can add your own values and activities. You can share those libraries for use by a small group or team. Each member of your group will need a HuMetricsHSS account; libraries cannot be shared publicly.
Values Sorter Code of Conduct
By signing up for a HuMetricsHSS account, you are agreeing to abide by the following code of conduct:
We expect all users of the application to recognize that the scholarly life well-lived does not allow harassment in any form. We are committed to providing a welcoming and safe environment for people of all races and ethnic backgrounds, gender identities and expressions, sexual orientations, physical abilities, physical appearances, socioeconomic backgrounds, nationalities, ages, religions, and beliefs. We strive to provide an online environment that’s free from all forms of harassment, including microaggressions. The creation of content that reinforces social structures of domination related to gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, employment status, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religion, marital status, political affiliation, or physical or cognitive ability is not permitted.
We will not actively monitor the content created within the private or shared libraries of this application, but if any user feels that the shared content violates this code of conduct, that user may report the content to the application administrator, who will review the content and remove the shared library. Users who have more than one reported violation will be blocked from using the site. We will not tolerate any violation or circumvention of this code of conduct.
Requesting Values Sorter Contributor Status
We on the HuMetricsHSS team recognize the value of community contributions in all the work we do. The publicly viewable content of the values sorter has been primarily created by the HuMetricsHSS team, but we welcome members of the community to apply to participate as contributors. Contributors must demonstrate an understanding of the HuMetricsHSS values framework and agree with the goals of the initiative. To apply to be a contributor, please click here.
